This is the area on Dada.net where you can communicate in real time with other users!



Select a chat room by age, language, or category (music, travel, cinema, etc.) and you will instantly be in contact with others who share the same interests as you!
Once you’ve entered a chat room, you’ll see a column showing the participants, the conversation in progress, the media (videos, audio, photos) that you can browse through and discuss and the space reserved for you to edit messages.
You can order the list of participants by name, age or gender. You can also choose the type of media from the box and decide whether you want to view your content (which is saved on your personal space) or the community’s content.

Chat participants

Inside each chatroom you can see the list of users participating in the chat. You can order them by name, age or gender (pink usernames belong to female profiles, black ones to male profiles). Clicking on the usernames will open a small box, showing links to the user's personal space and blog.

How do I a start a new chat?

Once you've entered a chat room (divided by age, language and category) you'll see a list of users participating in the chat; the conversation in progress; the media that you can browse through/discuss during the chat with other users and the space reserved for you to edit messages.

In this area you can choose the font and color of your text, write messages and add an emotion to the ones already present. Press enter from your keyboard or click enter on the screen to view your message.

Setting the chat status

On the chat page you can set your status and decide to show other users if you’re: online, not available, busy, or absent. This option gives you the change to tell others whether or not you are available for chat, busy, or away from your computer.

Invite your buddies to chat

You can tell your buddies all about the new Dada.net chat by sending them an invitation directly from the chatrooms. If your friends are not yet part of the community, invite them to join Dada.net and enjoy the many free services we offer!

What are the chat media?

Inside each chat room you’ll find a media box on the right. Clicking on the link with your username underneath this media box, you can decide to view your uploaded content (the content saved in your personal space). Otherwise, you can click on the name of the category of content you want to view from the community.

For each item of content from the community you can view the username of the content owner, the number of viewings and the rating. There is also a “Discuss this video in chat” option which allows you to share a particular video you like with the other participants.
